Katie Mitten has over ten years of experience managing projects that promote the health and safety of Texas children and families. As Assistant Director of Cross Systems Integration at the Meadows Institute, she coordinates efforts to improve systems supporting youth and families. Before joining the Institute in 2023, Katie worked with the Safe Kid Austin Coalition, Texans Care for Children, and Austin Child Guidance Center. She holds a Master’s in Social Work with a concentration in Community and Administrative Leadership from The University of Texas at Austin.

Dr. Clifford incorporates a Bio-Psycho-Social-Spiritual approach in his work, aiming to provide holistic and effective patient care.

Michelle Williams is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Supervisor (LCSW-S) serving Fannin County children and adolescents through Region 10 ESC. She’s a member of the regional crisis team and runs a private practice supporting adults and couples. Passionate about mental health, Michelle is dedicated to fostering resilience and well-being in every stage of life.

Alexis Wade is a Licensed Professional Counselor with Region 10 ESC, where she supports Fannin County Schools and serves on the regional crisis team. In addition to her work in education, she is an Adjunct Professor for the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at Southeastern Oklahoma State University and has experience working in private practice. She is committed to advancing mental health awareness and providing support to individuals and communities in need.

Brynane Payne is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with extensive experience working in school settings. Currently, Brynane serves as a personal care/crisis counselor supporting students in local, rural school districts. Previously, Brynane worked as a school counselor in rural school environments, where she provided guidance and support to students facing a variety of personal and academic challenges.

"Workplace Uncertainty: What Can Human Resource Leaders Do to Support Our Employees"

Yohna Chambers-Hastings is the Vice Chancellor and Chief Human Resources Officer at Texas Christian University (TCU), where she has served since 2016. With over 30 years of experience in higher education human resources, she has held leadership roles at institutions such as MD Anderson Cancer Center, Mississippi State University, the Medical University of South Carolina, James Madison University, and Virginia Tech. A nationally recognized leader, she received the 2024 CUPA-HR Distinguished Service Award and was named Human Resources Professional of the Year by the Fort Worth Business Press and Ogletree Deakins in 2019. Known for her innovative and compassionate leadership, Chambers-Hastings has shaped HR policy through her roles at the state, regional, and national levels of CUPA-HR and currently serves as chair of the TIAA National Advisory Council. She holds degrees from the University of Southern Mississippi and Mississippi State University and is a doctoral candidate at Baylor University, specializing in learning and organizational change. Outside of work, she and her husband enjoy restoring a historic farmhouse in Virginia and attending Scottish Highland Games, while proudly cheering on their daughters, Chandler and Cadence, in their academic pursuits.

Sharon Luse is the Texas Veterans Commission Certified Peer Service Coordinator for Texoma Community Center's Military Veteran Peer Network (WALKER HOUSE). A U.S. Navy veteran, she served as an Aviation Machinist Mate from 1988 to 2002. Since returning to the Texoma area in 2014, Sharon has been deeply committed to serving her community and supporting fellow Veterans. She holds a B.S. in Counseling from Texas A&M University–Commerce and is the proud mother of three wonderful children.
