Sharon Luse will discuss the unique contributions and challenges of the Veteran community. This session will also offer insight into the characteristics of the local Veteran population, along with veteran-specific resources available to support them.
Sharon Luse is the Texas Veterans Commission Certified Peer Service Coordinator for Texoma Community Center's Military Veteran Peer Network (WALKER HOUSE). A U.S. Navy veteran, she served as an Aviation Machinist Mate from 1988 to 2002. Since returning to the Texoma area in 2014, Sharon has been deeply committed to serving her community and supporting fellow Veterans. She holds a B.S. in Counseling from Texas A&M University–Commerce and is the proud mother of three wonderful children.
